Christmas of 2024
I will be going home for a two week leave. The cruise to Tasmania was truly fascinating. Now I can simply enjoy Christmas at home. I wouldn’t care if we didn’t go anywhere. Last year, I was disappointed that I had wasted my holidays going home and all I did was be served nice breakfast and then I just watched TV alone until he came back from the shop. Then we would go for a swim. The boys stayed in their respective rooms one playing his video games and the other on the iPad. I had wondered why I didn’t just organise a holiday for myself. This is no life. I can’t just work all year for the fdd as milt and then waste holidays at home alone.
Thanks to the sick days at home in September and the boredom that inspired me to look up a cruise and book it. They were really enjoyable eight days of my life even though my daughter did disappoint me many times. Her company was better than any other option I had. I had really hoped to have a better bond with her but she doesn’t like getting up in the morning, or going to the gym or watching sunrise or sunset from the deck. I tried my best to not let any of this phase my spirit. It’s no point complaining, this girl is too adamant to change a thing. Good for her. May God bless her.
