Let go Let go of anger Let go Let go of frustrations Let go Let go of expectations Let go Let go of standards If you keep letting go all that you hold dear Then who is left behind? Would it be you at all? Your identity is with all that you hold dear and will never compromise on So, while Buddha might say Let go! I say, Don’t let go of your hopes and dreams Don’t let go Don’t compromise your values And all that you wished to live by For soon your breaths will be over And all you will be remembered for Is not what you let go of But all that you stood for So, stand up for yourself Look back at all your frustrations And change them into your achievements Stand up Stand besides yourself Gently hold your own hand And say I will not let go I can and will do All I want from this life I will not let go!
